About Us

Although Honor Flight Boise is new, Honor Flight Network has been in existence for over 20 years.
The previous iteration of Honor Flight in Idaho was called Honor Flight of Idaho and was started by Lance Stephensen in 2011. Their inaugural flight was in September of 2012. In total they had 5 flights before Lance was unable to continue.

Honor Flight Boise is proud to pick up the mantle and continue Lance’s vision to honor the Veterans of Southwest Idaho.

Our Mission: Honor Flight Boise is a nonprofit organization committed to honoring America’s Veterans by providing fully funded, once-in-a-lifetime journeys to Washington, D.C. These powerful pilgrimages offer Veterans the opportunity to stand before our nation’s memorials that honor the enduring legacy of their contributions to our nation, their sacrifice, and a meaningful pathway that provides solace as they stand side-by-side with their fellow veterans.
